China Knitting Industrial AssociationEstablished in May of1990, CKIA, as the voice of the Chinese knitters & sewers, is committed to its principal aim at safeguarding the entire industrial interests and legitimate rights of its members by staying firm in line with the nation’s constitutions, laws, regulations and policies. To promote the industry, CKIA provides services that strengthen its role as a bridge to network its members with the governments, industrial associations, trade organizations, and business peers worldwide. CKIA has over 400 member companies, and keeps a close contact with 5000 knitting enterprises across the country, with the vertically-integrated production chain of yarn, fabric, dyeing-printing & finishing, all the way through to the finished products in three regimes: apparel( plus its accessories like bra, hosiery, gloves, scarf),home-textile and industrial textile. CKIA’s activities are centralized on corporate services & industrial interests： 1、CKIA inseminates the government’s guidelines, policy & rule ,providing the government with industrial updates, and corporate requests & suggestions. 2、CKIA carries out market survey to get hold of basic situation of the industry with respect to economic performance and market trends. Taking it as a platform, CKIA provides consulting & training services. 3、CKIA is actively engaged in pushing forward the scientific and technological progress in the knitting industry by organizing seminars & workshops to introduce the new technology ( new raw materials, equipment, process, product)and its latest developments to provide consulting services for the technical renovation & product R & D programs in the interested companies. 4. CKIA has its own publications (magazine, circular, documentations and website) to update its members with information related to industrial highlights and international trade issues. 5、CKIA implements brands strategy to recommend and popularize the quality products and superb brands & enterprises. 6、CKIA helps local knitting companies merchandize in domestic and international markets by organizing business mission trip , Knitting Expo, China International Knitting Conference, New Product & Fashion Trends Show. 7. CKIA is involved in setting industrial standards , and guides the whole industry to be self-disciplined for establishing a fair, just ,rule-keeping and orderly market system. China Knitting Industrial Association is honestly hoping to keep a close contact with international knitting organizations and the related stakeholders to facilitate bilateral & multilateral cooperation on a win-win basis.
